Bubble Goods requires that you send a sample of all products you want to list on the platform so our team can confirm packaging, ingredients, and taste. This is all part of the curated experience that Bubble Goods provides for our customer.
Bubble Goods requires sample shipments to be received just as customers would be receiving your product. This ensures for us a sign of a successful brand partner who can uphold great customer experience and shipping standards when shipping DTC. When samples are sent, they should be sent how you would normally fulfill a customer order, with all the proper packaging and packaging materials.

After you've entered your product details, you can hover over to the Sample Shipment tab to find the below screen.
As you can see, there are two addresses for things to get sent to: one for non-perishable and one for perishable. Once it's sent, please add the tracking info in the "Update Tracking Info" section. This will alert the Bubble Goods team to be expecting your product. Once we receive your product, you can expect to hear from us in 1-2 weeks if the sample is approved. From here, going live on the platform is easy
At Bubble Goods, the sample approval process varies slightly for perishable products given the nature of the product. See below for more information.
Bubble Goods only supports perishable sellers that ship nationwide, and are able to use the Bubble Goods x Shopify Integration. This feature enables orders to pass seamlessly through to your brand’s existing fulfillment system.
Perishable Product Shipping Requirements:
When shipping out an order containing perishable products, please ensure the packaging meets the following requirements:
- Temperature of products during shipping must be maintained at under 38°F/3.3°C for refrigerated products or under 32°F/0°C for frozen products, for a minimum of 48 hours of transit
- Interior Insulation with a minimum of 1-1/2"-thick walls
- Proper Coolant per product. The packaging must contain gel packs or dry ice depending on the product type
- Dry Ice Warning - If your shipments contain dry ice, the shipment must include a proper warning label that messages safe disposal and handling
- Storage Instructions either on the products packaging or included in the shipment, details of how the customer should store the product(s) must be included for all perishable products
With all this, products must also have a minimum of a 7 day shelf life upon shipment to the customer. If your product does not have a 7 day shelf life upon arrival, it must be frozen upon arrival.
